Moving up in the config options, an XPS 15 with Core i7 CPU, 16GB of RAM, 1TB M.2 SSD, NVIDIA RTX 3050 GPU, and 3.5K OLED touch display costs about $2,009. For a similar Inspiron 16 Plus, albeit with a larger 3K non-touch display, you're looking at about $850.
The XPS 15 starts at about $1,274 for a model with Windows 11, 11th Gen Intel Core i5 CPU, 8GB of RAM, 256GB M.2 SSD, integrated Intel UHD graphics, and an FHD+ non-touch display. You can still find the Inspiron 15 at some third-party retailers, so be sure to have a look at our XPS 15 vs. Dell seems to have - at least for the time being - discontinued its Inspi(also called 15 Plus) laptop, paving the way for the new Inspiron 16.
